Bertha Brendle

Bertha May "Betty" Brendle, 84, a 17-year resident of Glen Burnie and formerly of Baltimore, died of cancer Aug. 20 at Creston G. Tate and Betty Jane Tate Foundation Chesapeake Hospice House.

Mrs. Brendle was born June 9, 1924, in Baltimore.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, helping others and traveling.

She was preceded in death by one son, Robert L. Brendle Jr.; and one sister, Ruth Strawbridge.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Robert L. Brendle Sr.; one daughter, Dawn Stilley of Baltimore; and four grandchildren.
