This band features Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Wesley of the original JBs, the horn section for the James Brown Revue joined by Senegalese singer-songwriter Cheikh Lo, British-Nigerian rapper Ty, Afro-beat king Tony Allen (King Sunny Ade) and Malian guitarist Vieux Farka Toure, son of the late Ala Farka Toure.
