Hundreds of motorcyclists rally for burn victims

Leather clad, tattoo-bearing motorcyclists tend to get a bad rap. But when given a chance to band together for a good cause, their hearts can roar louder than straight pipes on a Harley.

More than 850 motorcyclists met at Cancun Cantina in Hanover for a three-stop charitable trip across the bay Saturday, riding in packs along Route 50 to Red Eye's Dock Bar in Grasonville and ending at Bamboo Bernie's in Pasadena.

The event, which raised $27,000, benefited the Mid-Atlantic Burn Camp in Harrisonburg, Va., where young burn victims from Anne Arundel and throughout the region meet each August for swimming, horseback riding, hiking,...
