Slots in Linthicum? I hope the title has grabbed your attention. In the coming slots referendum, a slots parlor could be placed in Linthicum or Arundel Mills or the old Blob's Park should we voters allow the current concept to pass. A slots parlor in the county within two miles of the Baltimore Washington Parkway allows much more than just the area around Laurel Park. A Washington Post article on Aug. 10 includes two items people need to consider: "In an interview last week, County Executive Leopold said he will look closely at the referendum results, examining support in his county, particularly among residents...
