James Booker Jr. James William "Jim" Booker Jr., 87, an 84-year resident of Linthicum and World War II veteran, died of natural causes Aug. 25 at Peartree Assisted Living in Pasadena. Mr. Booker was born May 26, 1921, in Baltimore, to the late James and Pauline Booker. He attended Anne Arundel County Public Schools. He served in the Marines from 1942 until 1946 when he was injured on the island of Saipan. Mr. Booker retired as a diesel mechanic from Matlack Trucking.
