My mom has had an awful time with her Medicare Part D Plan (PDP), which is supposed to cover her prescription drugs. She asked to have the premium for the plan withheld from her Social Security check, and this is where her problems started. The PDP keeps notifying her that they haven't received a premium payment in two months, even though her Social Security check shows a deduction. What can we do? The Senior Health Insurance Program does not recommend Social Security Administration (SSA) premium withholding for this reason.
