Anybody can get to and from New York City for $47 thanks to the Brooklyn Park High School Alumni Association. And, they can feel good about it, as part of that fare will go to a worthy cause.

The association will host a New York City on-your-own bus trip Oct. 4. The bus will leave Brooklyn Park at 6:30 a.m. with a stop on the way so that passengers can purchase their own breakfast.

Once in the Big Apple, participants can spend their time as they wish until 6:30 p.m., when the bus will depart for the return trip.

Tickets cost $47, with proceeds going to the North County High School scholarship fund.
