The Church at Severn Run will host a free block party Sunday at the church at 8187 Telegraph Road in Severn. Everyone is invited.

The day will start with a special morning of worship featuring sand artist Joe Castillo. He will perform at both the 9:15 and 11 a.m. services, creating detailed images from sand and transforming them into ever-changing shapes. The sand animation will be projected on large screens to create an inspirational experience.

Lunch outside will follow the 11 a.m. service, featuring food from Famous Dave's barbecue restaurant.
