Man charged with attempted murder

GLEN BURNIE - A Glen Burnie man was charged with attempted murder Sunday morning after county police said he stabbed another man multiple times.

Andy Jole Hernandez, 24, of Cedar Drive is charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault, and reckless endangerment.

Officers were called to a home in the 7500 block of Ritchie Highway at 4:30 a.m. A 40-year-old resident of the home was found inside with stab wounds to his upper body, police said.

He was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with critical injuries.
