Crime meeting I am writing this letter in regards to the crime meeting that took place at Van Bokkelen Elementary School on Aug. 19. I attended the meeting and as far as I'm concerned it was a waste of time. I have lived in Meade Village for 23 years. At first the crime wasn't too bad but for the last eight years or so it has gotten terrible. Reporter Marc Shapiro wrote in an article about two cops being assaulted that appeared after the meeting (Maryland Gazette, Aug. 23) that the citizens were more concerned with bogus traffic stops than anything else.
