Glen Burnie Jewelry pawned The owner of a home in the 700 block of Cotter Road apparently was betrayed by the son of her friend sometime between Aug. 15 and 24 when he allegedly stole $3,500 worth of jewelry from the home, county police said. The owner said she went out of town and gave a spare key to her friend and neighbor so she can take care of the homeowner's dog. When the owner returned home, she noticed a piece of her jewelry in her yard. She went to her room and found her jewelry gone, police said.
